Rockstar's GTA 6 Launch Gallery: 39 new screenshots, two weeks out
Rockstar released a new set of GTA VI screenshots on 5 November. We counted 39, most of them in Vice City, with new views of Grassrivers, the Leonida Keys and Port Gellhorn. Here's what's in the set and what it doesn't tell us.
Rockstar put a new collection of screenshots on its official site on 5 November and called it The Launch Gallery. Its Newswire post is two sentences long: the game is two weeks away, and here’s “a stunning look at Vice City and beyond”. Confirmed.
The gallery has no captions. Rockstar doesn’t say how many images are in it either, so we counted the files.
What’s in the 39
Rockstar’s file names sort them like this:
- Vice City: 15
- Jason Duval: 9
- Jason and Lucia: 7
- Lucia Caminos: 4
- Grassrivers: 2
- Leonida Keys: 1
- Port Gellhorn: 1
So this is mostly a set about people and the city. Only four shots are filed under other regions, and none under Ambrosia or Mount Kalaga. You can also download them: Rockstar’s media page now lists 138 screenshots in total, available as a single zip.

The single Leonida Keys shot is underwater: a diver over a reef, with a lionfish up close. Image: Rockstar Games

What it doesn’t tell us
No launch facts came with the gallery. The post doesn’t give an unlock time for 19 November, which is still one of the open questions, and it says nothing about a PC version or an online mode.
It also doesn’t say whether this is the last official drop before launch. Some coverage suggests it might be, but Rockstar hasn’t said so.
Why there are no new places on our map yet
Several of these shots have signs in them. A readable sign is good evidence of what the sign says. It doesn’t tell you where the place is, or whether it’s a place we already have under another name.
So we’ll read every sign at full resolution first, in the same way we went through the Launch Trailer. Anything that holds up goes through our evidence check before it reaches the map, with a label saying how sure we are. If this set adds a place, we’ll say so here.
